Numerous individuals end up at a time in their life where the future is unclear. You might be a student who’s just graduated, or maybe you are recently retired from work. Maybe you’ve recently been laid off from work and feel demoralised at being unemployed, but equally demoralised by the variety of work placements out there. In times like these, we frequently look for a different course of action. A group called DNA (dna-uk.org) are proffering a new choice - to spend your youth work gap year volunteering for a Christian church.

DNA provide placements in Christian churches, ranging from October to August. This is seen as a “year in with God, not a year out.”, involving the participant to dwell in a Christian surrounding - either within your own church if you presently attend one, or a designated church if you are not currently a member of a church. Your typical day will require assisting with the day-to-day activities of the church, and to be schooled by its members in bible studies. The course ensures faith in action, so those who sign up can anticipate a really practical experience of living their faith, and not only the study of it.

Further plus points of the courses include:-

  • assisting 18 year olds upwards, as there’s no upper age limit (they’ve trained people in their 60s!)
  • outfitting you for church based leadership
  • developing you for the workplace

There are three types of course available : Track 1 is the most popular access point to DNA - it is the richest DNA expereince. The vast majority of individuals select this as the best selection for them. Track 2 is more suited to you if taking a whole gap year is not pragmatically possible. This could be for reasons such as work or family commitments. Track 2 consequently proffers some tractability. Track 3 offers people the chance of joining us for as many particular training sessions or days as they wish.

Hosea 1:9
9Then God said:
“Call his name Lo-Ammi,
For you are not My people,
And I will not be your God.

God rejects all those “new” Israeli rejects, those Jews and
Israelis so detached from their Hebrew roots and biblical
responsibilities, so cut off from reality, and soon to be cut
off from the biblical Promised Land of ISRAEL, tossed out like
so much litter, so much worthless refuse (Jer. 6:30), for
refusing to live holy lives in the Holy Land (and the Fathers
refuse to recognize such spiritually illegitimate children as their descendants - Isa. 63:16), Gentilized Israelites and Jews on their way out (Hos. 5:7, 6:7), and EU OCCUPATION is on the way in, such disaster invited by political prostitutes who have sold out Israel and circle like vultures! (Zech. 14:1-2).
